Call of Duty: Black Ops backwards compatible op Xbox One

UPDATE: Microsoft woordvoerder Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb maakt officieel bekend dat Call of Duty: Black Ops vanaf nu backwards compatible is op de Xbox One.

ORIGINEEL: Call of Duty: Black Ops is binnenkort op de Xbox One speelbaar. Hoewel het bericht nog niet op de officiële Xbox-pagina te lezen is, vermeldt het Xbox Dashboard dat de game backwards compatible is.

Eind vorig jaar maakte Microsoft al bekend van plan te zijn om Call of Duty: Black Ops naar de Xbox One te brengen. Op de Xbox-website staat de shooter op de vijfde plaats van Xbox 360-games die gebruikers op de Xbox One willen spelen. Die lijst wordt overigens door het tweede Black Ops-deel aangevoerd.

Andere games waarvan binnenkort backwards compatibility verwacht wordt, zijn Skate en de Bioshock-trilogie. Ook ondersteunt de Xbox One sinds vorige week multi-disc Xbox 360-games. De eerste game die hier gebruik van maakt, is Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut.
