Microsoft brengt een nieuwe reeks controllers uit, de Tech Series. De eerste controller is de Xbox Wireless Controller - Recon Tech Special Edition. Deze lanceert 25 april.
De Recon Tech Special edition heeft een rubberen ruggensteun met diamond-patroon, een met laser geëtste textuur aan de voorkant en een verbeterd draadloos bereik met bluetooth-ondersteuning.

Dit is niet de eerste keer dat Microsoft speciale controllers voor de Xbox One uitbrengt. De Xbox One Elite Controller release vond in de herfst van 2015 plaats.
