Hollow Knight: Silksong release uitgesteld

Team Cherry laat via Twitter weten dat de release van Hollow Knight: Silksong wordt uitgesteld. Normaal gezien zou die game in de eerste helft van 2023 uitkomen, maar dat blijkt niet langer mogelijk.
Volgens Matthew Griffin van Team Cherry is de game intussen 'tamelijk groot' geworden, waardoor er meer tijd nodig is om Hollow Knight: Silksong af te werken.

We had planned to release in the 1st half of 2023, but development is still continuing. We're excited by how the game is shaping up, and it's gotten quite big, so we want to take the time to make the game as good as we can.

Voorlopig is er nog geen nieuwe datum bekend, maar daarover zou nog voor de zomer duidelijkheid zijn. Hollow Knight: Silksong komt in elk geval uit voor pc, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One en Xbox Series X/S.
