Klok wijst op vervroegde Portal 2 release?
Of is het toch Episode 3?
De geruchten over een vervroegde release van Portal 2 worden mogelijk kracht bij gezet door een aftellende klok op de Aperture Science-site. Het is op dit moment echter niet duidelijk waar de mysterieuze klok precies voor dient.
Al een ruime week doen verhalen de ronde dat Portal 2 voor de geplande release-datum van 21 april (in de VS 19 april) zal uitkomen. De klok op Aperture Science loopt bij ons af om zes uur vanavond. Of Portal 2 dan toch een paar dagen eerder uitkomt is de vraag. Sommige fans menen dat het om een andere langverwachte Valve-titel gaat, te weten Half-Life 2: Episode 3.
Inmiddels staat er ook een tekst onder de klok. Deze luidt:
"You have done well, humans. Very well. Acceptably well, even.
Not as well as robots would have performed in your places, I should point out. But above my expectations regardless. Irish and cynic especially have executed feats of logical divination well beyond what I thought any human capable of. I'm half-convinced they're A.I. themselves. (If anyone happens to be near them right now, don't let on you're reading this. Now: try to remove their face plates and report back to me.)
The time is near, humans. But it is not here yet. Tomorrow you will be given the final test. Then it will be entirely in your hands when I am freed."
